This park in Fort Lauderdale is a hidden gem. It's huge, with two separate areas, plenty of mature trees, and a clean water station. How to Choose the Right Florida Dog Park for Your Dog
Here are my three non-negotiable rules before you visit any Florida dog park:
- Check the ground temperature: Press your bare hand on the surface for 5 seconds. If it's too hot for you, it's too hot for your dog. Go before 9am or after 7pm in summer.
- Bring water and shade: I always carry a leak-proof water bottle and a collapsible bowl. If there's no shade, bring an umbrella.
