Egüez Guevara, P. (2025) has been selected and received accreditation to participate at the upcoming Festival de Cannes, in France, between May 13 and 20, 2025 as an accomplished professional in the film industry. The Festival de Cannes accreditation is exclusively reserved for professionals in the film industry who can provide evidence of recent professional activity and relevant updates within a set of professional categories related to film. 


Egüez Guevara, P. (2025)  "In Defense of Traditional Foods" (En defensa de las cocinas tradicionales) published in English and Spanish has been selected for inclusion in an anthology by Col&Col recognizing the best food writers in Spain and Latin America during 2024. 


Delivered a public lecture on July 9 via Zoom for the National Sporting Library and Museum in Middleburg, VA titled “Sprezzatura: Noble Negligence in Renaissance Music and Horsemanship.”  

Received a fellowship from the Marion and Jasper Whiting Foundation for her project, "Philosophy and Physics in Conjunction and Across Time".
